BUG Clicker troubleshooting

These fixes are for the desktop pet, not for a mouse that double-clicks by itself and not for insect sounds. Four problems have their own pages because people search them as a full question. The shorter ones stay on this page.

• A .cvclk will not load — zip still wrapped, wrong extension, device lock, or an old app.
• No idle lines — the rate, empty text, or a hidden bubble.
• No sound, or it ignores music — click effects versus the volume reaction.
• Black window or it closes — graphics acceleration and the first-launch wait.

The character is gone

The tray can gather every character back into one spot. v1.19.0 also calls out the pin-on-top control and the show-parts control when a pet is on screen but looks missing. Check those before you reimport.

Back hair does not move

Hair in the back is a layer. Open the part list, look at layer order, and check the reverse-swing switch. A layer under the body will not read as motion even when the number is high.

Start with Windows or the Mac

The tray menu has an item for launching together with the computer. That is the whole public description. There is no separate task-scheduler walkthrough.

When none of that helps

Settings, Reactions, then the button that builds a problem-report archive. The guide says the archive holds the version, Windows details, an error log, how many characters you have, and memory use.
