BUG Clicker lives on your desktop.

BUG Clicker is a free desktop pet for Windows 10/11 and macOS. You click the character, it plays a click sound, and a speech bubble appears. A long press shakes it. Petting the head changes the face. People share characters as .cvclk files.

What this is

BUG (@BUGnDEV) ships it as a Windows exe and a Mac dmg. The current Windows build I am writing against is v1.19.0, dated 1 November 2026. The Mac build is v1.4.0 BETA. The developer site dates that Mac build 31 October 2026, and the Mac release listing dates it 1 November 2026. I keep both dates. The app UI is Korean, English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese. The developer states it is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases, and that there is no sponsorship plan.

What this is not

• Not the Bug Bite Thing suction tool, and not an insect-bite product.
• Not Bugs Clicker, the 2023 mobile game on Google Play by a different developer.
• Not an auto clicker, not Cookie Clicker, and not a browser clicker game.
• Not an Android or iPhone app. There is no official APK.

Where to get it

Download only from the two public GitHub release listings: BUG-Clicker.exe (107.8 MiB, 13,522 downloads of that file as of 3 November 2026) and BUG-Clicker-mac.dmg (223.2 MiB, 910 downloads of that file). Those counts are downloads of one file, not a count of people. macOS 12 Monterey uses a separate pre-release dmg. This site does not host the files.
