The BUG Clicker PSD template and drawing base

The drawing base is downloaded from inside the editor: Image, then Get template. The file lands in your Downloads folder. It is not a fidget-toy template and not a sticker sheet for another app. The developer describes the required image slots rather than specifying a fixed PSD layer count.

What the guide says is inside

v1.19.0 added a prop and a floppy-ear guide. I treat the guide PNGs as something that grows when the version grows, not as a frozen set from the first public build on 4 October 2026.

What you may do with art from this base

The developer FAQ says pictures drawn on this template can be commissioned both ways, and you can make personal goods. Goods you sell need a separate conversation with the developer. Any sale or commission has to say “BUG Clicker” and name the source. Selling the .cvclk itself has extra rules on the import page: turn on the lock that stops the buyer from exporting again, and tell them to update.

This site does not host the PSD. Use Get template in your own copy of the app so the file matches the version you are running.

Head base showing where a BUG Clicker face is drawn
Head base published on the developer site. The PSD’s head1 and head2 groups line up with this slot.
Head-top guide area for a small doll
Head-top art. The doll sheet is 400×400, separate from the 800×800 body canvas.

Questions

Can I use a PNG instead of the PSD?

Yes. Add PNG, or drop the file on the stage. The PSD is the grouped starting point.

Is this the same template as a clicky-pet generator?

No. Those are other products. This file comes from BUG Clicker’s own Image menu.
